- Do all the elements in your design work well together? Is there unity in your product/website design?
- Do all the related items in your design share visual similarities?
- Are the most important elements on your page visually dominant so as to bring attention to them first?
- Are you showing too much information on any section of your website/product? This could have a perceived effect of difficulty on the user, who may feel that the product is more difficult to use than it actually is.
- Is there enough whitespace between your website/product elements to prevent cluttering and give your elements more space to breathe?
- Have you removed any unnecessary fluff content or long text blocks that distract the user from achieving the primary action you want them to take on that particular page?
- Do the primary elements have contrasting colours/shapes when compared to the secondary and background elements? For E.g. Are your Call to Action (CTA) buttons of a contrasting colour to the background?
- Are you conveying your design in as few elements as possible? The fewer elements on your page, the easier it is to convey your primary message.
- Are all the related elements in your designs placed close to each other so as to show that those elements are related? Are unrelated elements given enough space to distinguish them from related element blocks?
- Are you using boundaries where applicable to group related elements together? These can be used while describing benefits/pricing.
- Are all your elements aligned properly? Don't use different types of alignment in different sections of the page and even within elements?
- Are you consistent and repetitive with your design blocks? Repetition of design blocks bring harmony to your design
