• Is the font in line with your brand's tone and character and does it compliment the emotion you are trying to express in your design?
  • Is it legible and easy on the eye across devices and on small screens? Avoid fonts that are hard to read and have characters that are indistinguishable from each other.
  • Is it compatible with your target demographic? If your target audience is on the younger side, they may like more flashy Sans Fonts. Will your font be legible and engage your audience?
  • Is there enough spacing between consecutive lines and between letters? Cramped text and words are difficult to read.
  • Are you using only 2 or at most 3 fonts on your page? Limit your fonts to 1 or 2 whenever possible and keep it consistent across pages/product screens. You can try coupling serif and sans serif fonts too.
  • Check whether all font weights of the font are available. Certain fonts have very few weights and that lowers your ability to distinguish between elements on the page.
