The tendency to think in particular ways, frequently resulting in a deviation from reasonable, logical decision-making, is known as cognitive bias. It is most commonly researched in psychology and behavioral economics, but it is prevalent in many aspects of life. Cognitive biases influence how we purchase, sell, connect with friends, think, and feel, among other things.
